CREATIVE RESPONSES TO THE RIVER
Poetry and art were at the heart of Red River: Listening to a Polluted River and there were a number of new works commissioned as part of the project. Dr John Wedgwood Clarke wrote a poetic work in response to the river, sound artist Rob Mackay composed an audio piece in collaboration with John, artist Naomi Frears produced a moving image work and artist chef Mollie Goldstrom created a series of prints and a culinary experience. Three recent graduates from Falmouth University were invited to respond to the river: visual artist Beth Clayton and photographers Jasper Fell-Clark and Harvey Gorst.
