RESOURCES

In line with the aims of the project a number of resources have been produced for free use by anyone curious to find out more about the Red River specifically, or looking for creative ways to explore the complex impact of human activity on rivers and waterways more generally. These resources include worksheets and writing prompts for use by schools, colleges or creative writing groups.  As well as talks delivered as part of the Red River Stannary event in October 2021, and four groups of historic, sonic and literary resources, originally assembled for walks led by John Wedgwood Clarke along the length of the river. The walk resources can be enjoyed individually from the comfort of your home, or used as an accompaniment to your own explorations along the public footpaths that surround each stage of the watercourse.
