RED RIVER STANNARY: jem southam

The Red River Stannary was a one day event convened in order to share research, poetry and artworks developed as part of Red River: Listening to a Polluted River. This is a talk by renowned photographer Jem Southam, who documented the river over a six year period in the 1980s when he was living in the area. Jem shared stories and unpublished images of the river, as well as reflecting on some of the key images from his book The Red River. The Stannary was held at CAST in Helston Cornwall on Saturday 9th October, 2021.

The event was produced by Field Notes CIC and filmed by Ollie Smith.
